Divorce in Florida Online provides flat-fee divorce document preparation for people throughout Florida. Our preparation fees begin at $280. The exact fee depends on whether both spouses agree, whether the case involves minor children or property, and whether the other spouse must be served or located through publication.

Important Pricing Information
Our preparation fee is separate from the court filing fee and other third-party expenses. The Florida court filing fee used for our cases is currently $419 plus the filing provider’s card-processing fee.
Most DIFO service fees can be divided into the two payments shown below. Klarna is also available at checkout for every divorce service, subject to Klarna’s approval and the terms displayed at checkout.
Remote online notarization is optional. You may use an eligible notary of your choice or select our guided remote-signing service. When both spouses participate, they may complete separate online sessions.
Mutual Agreement Divorce Prices
A mutual-agreement divorce may be available when both spouses agree to the divorce and will cooperate by reviewing and signing the required documents. Eligible cases may be completed without either spouse attending a court hearing.

Divorce by Summons Prices
A divorce by summons may be appropriate when you know where your spouse can be found but your spouse will not sign, cooperate or participate voluntarily. A sheriff or private process server formally delivers the divorce papers.

Divorce by Publication Prices
Divorce by publication may be available when you cannot locate your spouse after completing the required diligent search. The notice is published in an eligible newspaper before the case can move forward.

What Is Included in the DIFO Preparation Fee?
The exact documents and procedural steps depend on your case. For an eligible case, our document-preparation service generally includes:
- Reviewing the information you provide to identify the document-preparation process that may fit your circumstances
- Preparing the required divorce documents using the information you supply
- Providing instructions for reviewing, signing and notarizing the documents
- Reviewing returned documents for document-preparation and filing purposes
- Helping with electronic filing when the case is ready
- Providing procedural communication and document support as the case progresses

Court Fees and Other Possible Divorce Expenses
These expenses are not retained as DIFO document-preparation revenue. The amount may depend on the court, provider, county and facts of the case.

If you cannot afford the court filing fee, you may apply for a determination of civil-indigent status. The clerk of court decides whether you qualify. Approval is not guaranteed.

What is the least expensive DIFO divorce service?
Our lowest document-preparation fee is $280 for an eligible mutual-agreement divorce without minor children or property. The court filing fee and any optional or third-party expenses are separate.
Is the Florida court filing fee included?
No. The $419 court filing fee and the filing provider’s card-processing fee are separate from DIFO’s document-preparation fee.
Can I divide the DIFO fee into payments?
Yes. The standard two-payment structure for each service is shown in the tables above. Klarna is also available at checkout for every divorce service, subject to approval and the terms presented by Klarna.
Is remote online notarization required?
No. Remote online notarization is optional. You may use an eligible notary of your choice. Our remote option is available for clients who prefer guided online signing without printing documents or visiting a notary’s office.
Can the filing fee be waived?
You may apply for civil-indigent status if you cannot afford the court filing fee. The clerk reviews the application and decides whether you qualify. DIFO cannot guarantee approval.
What happens to the price if my spouse stops cooperating?
A mutual-agreement case depends on both spouses continuing to cooperate and sign. If cooperation ends, a summons or another procedure may be required. We will explain any different document-preparation service and fee before completing additional paid work.
