The first step is to file the case, then get a process server to get him served.
Then we need to wait 20 calendar days to see if he files an answer.
If he does not file an answer we will file a default and request a final hearing.
If he does file an answer we will review the answer and proceed accordingly which will vary based on what he filed but it will delay being able to request a final hearing considerably.
Taking all of this in consideration it could take around 2 – 6 months of even more if there are children and assets to divide.
