FLORIDA NO-COURT DIVORCE OPTION
Most states and counties has their own procedure for filing divorce documents. Some counties in the State of Florida allow what is known as a no-court divorce. A no-court divorce is an “express divorce” where the final hearing is waived and the parties receive their final judgement in 30-45 days from filing the divorce.

Requirements: One of you MUST live in the State of Florida for the last 6 months. For a simple divorce it needs to be in mutual agreement OR by publication. For a divorce with children you both must be in mutual agreement and the children must live in the State of Florida.

FLORIDA CONTESTED AND UNCONTESTED DIVORCE

An Uncontested Divorce is where both spouses agree to divorce, and have no major dissents about basic divorce issues such as maintenance and property division. Filing for an uncontested divorce usually can result in less amount of money, paperwork and other procedures. So the conclusion is that you should try and come to an agreement to settle for an uncontested divorce and a qualified attorney can help you there.
FLORIDA DIVORCE BY PUBLICATION
A divorce by publication is done when the whereabouts of the other party are not known. In this divorce process a search for the person must be performed, then a publication in a local newspaper is required. Once it runs for 30 consecutive days then the final hearing is scheduled for a divorce with children. A simple divorce can be done following the Florida no-court hearing divorce option.
